The sweet smelling, late fall forage of rabbitbrush is a crucial season extender for pollinators. The white/gray stem tips are beautifully sprinkled with delicate yellow tops. I have yet to see a pollinator plant list by master gardeners that doesn’t include it.

Side note: Please research how fall allergies are spread by wind pollinated ragweed. The other flowers blooming at the same time are not to blame as they are pollinated with the spread of pollen - too heavy to launch in the wind.
