Gaillardia is native to the Great Basin and oh what a diehard! It is almost evergreen through the winter, has cheery yellow petals with an orange center. Growing narrow but tall it holds a presence in its space, a favorite at Vitalbeebuds. This is a long blooming flower that pollinators know well. It is very drought tolerant in its second year and beyond and can even be placed off the drip.
