Artemisia Tridentata (Mountain Sagebrush)

from $8.99

In the Sierra Mountains of Northern Nevada, this big sagebrush is home to many species. One of the keystone species that supports the endangered sage grouse. It provides shade for other native plants to take hold. And when it rains here, has the very prominent fragrance most rush outside to experience and deeply breath in (but I learned from friend, not all).

This is very difficult to propagate so foster this one with care by respecting the conditions of space, lean soil with excellent drainage, and the very little water that it prefers. After one plant is established, leave it to do the rest. If you want more, the delicate (tempermental seeds) find a bare spot far better than we can. For those of you who like to try, collecting seeds has a very short window and requires research.
